A abertura com One Helluva Ride entrega um hard rock direto, sem excessos, que deixa claro o entrosamento da banda. Mesmo sem grandes momentos individuais, a faixa se destaca pela solidez do conjunto e pelo ótimo uso dos teclados de Mikael Blanc, estabelecendo o tom do álbum.
Na sequência, Holding On To Yesterday começa como uma balada, mas rapidamente surpreende ao assumir contornos mais densos, com um vocal quase industrial de Robin Eriksson, culminando em um refrão forte e marcante. The album naturally balances the genre’s classic foundations with modern production elements, arrangements, and vocal approaches, resulting in a cohesive, diverse, and finely executed record.
The opening track, One Helluva Ride, delivers straightforward hard rock with no excess, immediately highlighting the band’s tight chemistry. While it doesn’t focus on individual virtuosity, the song stands out for its solid ensemble performance and the effective use of Mikael Blanc’s keyboards, setting the album’s overall tone.
